Space Images Unveiled

As part of the 2009 Great Observatories International Year of Astronomy, the library received 2 prints taken by the Hubble Space Telescope. Rob Coyle, history professor and former NASA employee, shared insights about the photos and the Hubble Telescope program.

Hiking Around Houston

From the Piney Woods to the Gulf Coast prairies and marshes, the Houston rea has a variety of hiking trails for hikers of all experience levels. Librarian Tracy Williams took us on a virtual tour of Houston-area hiking hotspots. Read Tracy's blog, The Chaotic Life, for more information.
